The Bluebirds travelled to Northampton in a reserve friendly and ran out comfortable winners by four goals to one.

Peter Whittingham put in a man of the match performance and managed to bag two himself. Academy player Tyrrell Webbe and Scottish International Steve Thompson got the other goals for the City.
