An ex-Aston Villa trainee/full pro who also played for Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion, Riccy is a former.England U-21/B International who was signed from Albion in mid-January 2006. He is a valuable member of the squad because he can also play at full-back or in the middle of defence.. He was a regular in the Bluebirds' line-up last season to late-January when injury restricted him, and he only made a few appearances after that to the end of the season.
