Born 9/12/79 Westminster.
Steve is an ex-Leeds United trainee/full pro who also had loan-spells at Millwall and Nottingham Forest. He joined Barnsley in July 2004 and played in most of Barnsley's League One and Cup matches in 2005/06 as well as in their successful League One Play-Off Final of May 2006. Barnsley's promotion would have seen him back in the Championship but he decided to join Cardiff City on June 14th 2006, a move that saw him back at Barnsley for the opening Championship match of the new season. Last season he played 45 Championship and Cup matches for the Bluebirds. He has played for the Republic of Ireland at Youth, Under-21 and Senior level.
