City manager Dave Jones spoke to the press following his sides 2-1 win over Bristol City at Ninian Park.

"Everybody is focussed on the job in hand and we have a slim outside chance and while that's still there people will keep trying to get maximum points.

"It was a tough game in the first half, quite tight, we got our noses in front and the 'keeper put in a good save from Tommo.

"There was good interplay, some good passing and then we got our noses in front. Then we had a number of opportunities to get that second goal to kill them off. But they are not up there because they lay down. It was a bad goal to give away and we were annoyed with it, as every manager would be when you concede. We stayed firm and went up the other end and got the penalty. It was a well earned three points for us today.

"I'm not bothered about the rivals thing, I'm only concerned with getting the three points. We've just played two of the top teams in the top six, in Hull and Bristol and we've come away with maximum points.

"We are disappointed that we didn't get maximum points against Colchester but after the week that we had it probably took a lot out of us.

"We are refreshed now and it showed in the performance we put on."
