DAVE'S VIEW: SKY BLUES
Cardiff City manager Dave Jones gave his reaction to our 0-1 loss to Coventry.
"I thought that was worse than the Stoke game because we had gilt edge chances that we should have put away. I can't even say that they defended and threw their bodies on the line, we just missed the chances.
"We had our get out of jail card, which we shouldn't have needed, and we miss it.
"The longer things go on like that the more frustrating it gets. Someone just asked me should Darren Purse have taken the penalty. He's been the penalty taker since he came here.
"It's easy to get frustrated but you've got to take a lot of positives out of the game and how we played and what we did to them.
"Too many missed opportunities again. Sloppy bit of defending cost us a football match that we should never have lost.
"I put Roger Johnson up front at the end because we were just going to fire balls up front for the last few minutes.
"We won the penalty and we should have put it away. It's a free shot at goal and we had quite a few free shots at goal today and didn't put them in the back of the net.
"We are creating chances and the disappointing thing is we are not putting them away.
"Once they got a goal in front they were always going to sit back and try and catch us on the break.
"It's just deja vue sometimes but we are doing it right because we are creating the chances. If we wasn't creating the chances then you'd be wondering where the next opportunity is coming from. They were hanging on by their finger tips today in the first half. The goal then alleviated the pressure off them and then they were just going to knock long balls forward."
