DAVE JONES (MANAGER)
Merseyside-born David Jones began his professional career as a central defender with Everton whom he joined as an apprentice, signing full professional in 1974. He became a regular in their line-up, and played against Cardiff City at Ninian Park in the F.A. Cup Fifth Round tie of February 1977.
An England Youth and Under-21 International, he was eventually transferred to Coventry City for £275,000 in 1981, but his career with them came to an end after he sustained a knee-injury during a reserve match. He then played for Hong Kong club Seiko before returning to League football with Preston North End where he spent two seasons.
He retired after over 300 League and Cup appearances during his career and then worked in a children's home on Merseyside. He coached and managed at Southport, Mossley and Morecambe before he was appointed youth-coach at Stockport County, later becoming first-team coach.
He was appointed Stockport's acting-manager in March 1995, gaining the job on a full-time basis in August 1995, and he took them to promotion to the old First division in 1996/97. He them joined Southampton in June 1997 and was named the League Managers' Association "Manager of the Season" in his first year with them.
He left the Saints in late-January 2000 because of circumstances outside the game, and was then out of management until early-January 2001 when he took charge at Wolves. He lost his position at Molineux at the start of November 2004.

TERRY BURTON (ASSISTANT MANAGER)
Born: Camden Town, North London, 8th November
Born in Camden Town, North London, Terry captained the Arsenal side which won the F.A. Youth Cup at the end of 1970/71 when we played them in the Final, drawing 0-0 at Highbury, and losing 2-0 here when Terry scored his side's second goal to seal their win. He left Arsenal shortly after that and went into non-league football, then qualified as a coach. He later became youth-team coach and first-team coach at Arsenal, and joined Wimbledon (as they were then known) in 1988. He spent fourteen years with them as Academy Director and then Manager, and left the Club in April 2002. He joined Watford as assistant to Ray Lewington in early 2002/03 before joining Cardiff City in September 2004.

PAUL WILKINSON (RESERVE TEAM MANAGER)
Born: Louth, Lincolnshire, 30th October 1964
Paul was a regular goal-scoring forward with Grimsby Town, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Watford, Middlesbrough, Oldham (Loan), Watford (Loan), Luton Town (Loan), Barnsley, Millwall and Northampton Town. A former England U-21 International, he moved into coaching, where he had a spell with the Leeds United Academy and Grimsby Town where he worked until May 2003. He joined Cardiff City in early October 2003.

MARTYN MARGETSON (GOALKEEPING COACH)
Neath-born Martyn played for Manchester City, Bristol Rovers (loan), Southend United and Huddersfield Town before joining Cardiff City in August 2002. He made 40 League and Cup appearances for the Club, and was appointed player/goalkeeping-coach in the summer of 2006, though last season he did not make any playing appearances. During his career, he played for Wales at Schools, Youth, Under-21, B and Senior levels.

SEAN CONNELY (PHYSIO)
Born: Sheffield (England) 26 June 1970
A full back during his playing career, he began with non-league Hallam before joining Stockport County in August 1991. In March 2001 in moved to Wolves, later joining Tranmere. His final club was Rushden and Diamonds with who he spent the entire 2004/05 season playing nearly all of their games. He reached the 500 career-appearances figure towards the end of that season. Throughout Sean has made he passed all the necessary qualifications to become a Chartered Physiotherapist and it was in this roll that he joined Cardiff season in summer of the 2005/06 season linking up again with Dave Jones who was his Manager at Stockport and Wolves.

ALEX ARMSTRONG (FITNESS COACH)
Born on Merseyside, Alex is a former Tranmere Rovers forward who served for thirteen years in the Army's Physical Training Corps. During that time he worked in football as fitness coach, football coach and assistant-manager. A full badge F.A. Coach and UEFA "A" licence-holder, Alex has worked for Farnborough, Woking, Camberley, Wealdstone, Runcorn, Newtown Ards (Northern Ireland), Peterborough, Barnet, Stockport, Wolves and Southampton. He joined Cardiff City as Fitness Coach in 2005, linking up again with Dave Jones, the two having been together at several of Alex's previous clubs.

LEN NOKES (CLUB DOCTOR)
Len is currently professor of clinical biomechanics at Cardiff University. He has been attached to the medical staff at Cardiff City FC since 1992, firstly as crowd doctor and then club doctor for last eight years. He is a member of the UEFA turf panel which involves looking at the mechanisms of injuries sustained by players on artificial and normal turf. He holds the Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine Great Britain and Ireland and is a Member of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine of the Royal College of Surgeons/Physicians of Ireland.

STEFAN BURNETT (MASSEUR)
Born: 21/11/1979 Hong Kong Nationality: Welsh
Lived in Cardiff since he was 11. Stefan qualified as a Sports Massage Practitioner in 2000 whilst studying for a degree in Sports Science. He then decided to do a Masters in Sport Science at U.W.I.C, which he completed in 2004. Stefan came to the club in early October in the 2005/2006 season after working with the WRU Under-21's.
