AWAY SUPPORTERS FACILITIES

Stands capacity: 3,000

Visitors usually located in the Jimmy Seed (South) Stand.

Disabled: Booking is essential. Seven spaces for away fans in the disabled areas (West Stand and East Stand). One helper admitted per disabled fan. Free of charge for disabled, helpers charged concessionary prices. Commentaries available for blind and partially sighted.

DIRECTIONS

Parking Restrictions: Parking around the ground is limited to 2 hours only - car parking on match days available at Thames Barrier visitor centre and the Westminster Industrial Estate (Warspite Road, off Woolwich Road. Both cost £5.

By road from North/South/West - Leave the M25 at Junction 2 and head towards London on the A2. Ignore exit signs for central London and follow the road as it becomes the A102M Blackwall Tunnel. Leave A102M at the junction after the A2 exit (if coming through the tunnel, it is the exit after the one for the Dome) and turn right at the roundabout onto the A1206 Woolwich Road. After a major set of traffic lights at the junction of Charlton Church Lane and Anchor and Hope Lane, turn right at the second roundabout into Charlton Lane. Across the railway crossing and first right is Harvey Gardens.

From Central London - Take A13 until it becomes East India Dock Road and take the A102 through the Blackwall Tunnel. - turn right at the roundabout onto the A1206 Woolwich Road (after the one for the Dome.)

From East London - Use Blackwall Tunnel or the Woolwich ferry at North Woolwich. Turn right at roundabout and follow the Woolwich Road.

Railway Services: Connex runs train services to Charlton railway station, which is about a two minute walk from the stadium.

Frequent services depart from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge. There are limited services from Cannon Street (midweek) and Victoria.

Other public transport links include the docklands Light Railway (change for train or bus connections at Greenwich or Lewisham) and the North Greenwich station on the Jubilee Line.

Bus Routes: Extensive network. Routes include the 177, 180, 472, 161, 53 and 54. The M1 service provides an overland link to Charlton train station from the North Greenwich tube station.

AROUND THE GROUND

Local things of interest: Walking distance of Thames Barrier, views of Millennium Dome and Canary Wharf.

Pubs: The Antigallican, a big pub near Charlton station, or Charlton Liberal Club, which for a small payment welcomes away fans. (Note: away supporters are generally expected to conceal colours).

Local eateries: Valley Café by station serves a 'Saturday Special'. Kebab Express and Seabay Fish Bar round the corner in Floyd Road.
