REPORT: CARDIFF 0-1 COVENTRY U18'S
Article by Chris Nokes
Cardiff U-18's fell 1-0 to Coventry U-18's on a wet morning in the Midlands.
Cardiff looked to have recovered from the loss to Tottenham a week prior as they created many chances and put in a decent performance. They were undone, however, by a lack of quality in the final third of the pitch.
Coventry's goal came from a set piece and the Sky Blues' Andy Ritchie was on hand to give Coventry all three points in this important bottom-of-the-table clash.
Highlights of this game are available on Cardiff City World.
Cardiff Academy Manager Neal Ardley:
"I was relatively pleased with the performance, but disappointed with the result. We should have won the game, but unfortunately our end product was lacking today."
